June Sleepover Program

JuneSleepoverStudents Invade Barn

A great group of grade 7 kids from the Master's Academy & College in Calgary invaded the the Barn this week. They were a part of our Student Sleepover Program. We started the night with our roast beef dinner followed by canoeing and horsedrawn hay rides. Some of the students even went swimming in our lake. We then went upstairs and taught them some dance moves with our dance instructor Ron Reimann. Then we danced the night away. After the dance we had a traditional prairie desert, Johnny Cake with maple syrup. Once we got them settled down for bed they watched a movie. It had been a long day as they were at the Frank Slide Interpretive Center for their great sleepover program.
We woke them up in the morning for our pancake breakfast, said our good byes as they headed out to Lethbridge to the Galt Museum. We sure had a great time with them and the kids were so polite and freindly. A special thanks to all the leaders who accompanied them on the trip. What a great a group. Have a great summer kids.
