Student Dance Lessons & Sleepover Program


Dance Instruction & Outdoor Activities
Based On Grades 6 - 8 Physical Education Curriculum

It is our goal that your students will leave The Barn Dance Sleepover Program with:gcbd-barndancing
  • enhanced dancing ability,
  • greater cooperation/leadership skills
  • increased respect & knowledge of Canadian tradition
  • a desire to continue their pursuit of personal fitness

Students are given the unique opportunity to experience some Southwestern Alberta culture, hospitality and good times in a family atmoshpere.

They will learn several dance styles and spend some time learning about our historical 105-year-old barn near Hill Spring in Southwest Alberta.


Our professional and experienced Dance Instuctor will introduce Students to
Jive, Swing, Polka, Two Step Dancing, Foxtrot, Old Time Waltz and Square Dance.

  • Roast Beef Dinner
  • Canoeing
  • Dance Lessons
  • DJ Barn Dance

  • Campfire
  • Evening Snack
  • Overnight Lodging in our 105 year old barn
  • Breakfast

Wake up to our Cowboy pancake breakfast and choose to either take in an intermediate dance lesson and performance session, or be on your way to experience Waterton National Park, Mountain Meadows Horseback Riding, Kimball River Rafting, Frank Slide Interpretive Center, Historic Fort Macleod, Head-Smashed-In Buffalo Jump or the Remingtion Carriage Center.
